Yaldhurst Wools, Polly's family have been supplying wool to Hainsworth Mill in West yorkshire for 37years and recently Polly has seen the opportunity to bring the completed product back for us.

When asked "Why not make your blankets in NZ", she is quick to reply that the company has vast knowledge in textiles and dyeing and should we try to do that here it would cost millions and perhaps never achieve what they know. I actually feel silly asking her that now that I sleep under one and have a real understanding of Hainsworth Mills. And why not support those who have supported us for all these years and done a fine job of it.Its still our wool you know!!

Most importantly the colours are beautiful,I cannot think of a better lifetime gift for yourself or someone you care about. Currently we have 3 colours on our website for sale but will be introducing the others soon.

If its good enough for Prince William to wear on his wedding day, its good enough for you to sleep under every night!

This is my bedroom which I "styled" in our product for the photoshoot. It has been a blank canvas for some time while Ill struggle to make a decision on anything! But now I'm feeling a renewed energy to get it done. It suddenly feels adult, sophisticated and a place where the reality of life downstairs can temporarily be forgotton.Its so worth spending that bit of time and money on making your bed one of the best places in the world!

The reality is that the book on the bedside table has been there for a year, any one of my children will knock the flowers over within about .half a minute, and my husband will throw the stickman out the window when it pokes him in the eye! The good news is that the bedding could stay even in our crazy house, theres nothing to ruin, throw those cushions around and they'll still look fab tomorrow!

Does anyone else feel like Quentin Blake is an old friend?

His drawings have a wicked sense of humour that I am so pleased to be reconnected with reading to my children at the moment. He and Roald must have had a good old time, working together. Many thanks to Osborne and Little, we can now enjoy his drawings on fabric.
